O ur story begins way back in 1957, when the purchase of our first olive grove marked the beginning of our exciting olive-growing adventure in Rotello, an enchanting gem of Molise.
This fascinating land, overlooking the hills and the sea of Molise, is steeped in a centuries-old olive-growing tradition. The municipality of Rotello, a member of the 'Città dell'Olio' (Oil City) Association, is one of its founding towns and is deeply committed to protecting and promoting the olive-growing environment and landscape, to spreading the history of olive- growing, to guaranteeing the consumer through the promotion of denominations of origin, and to organising events and implementing communication and marketing strategies aimed at raising awareness of Italy's great olive-growing heritage.
Olive trees, with over 400 years of history, are our roots. The care of each production step, best practices in processing and controlled storage help preserve the unique organoleptic characteristics of our EVO oil.
While holding firm to tradition, our family has always been innovative, embracing the most advanced technologies.
The pioneering 'Diefenbach' oil mill, the centrepiece of Mancini D'Alessandro's early days, was one of the first in Italy to adopt continuous processing.
Today, although inactive, it has become the custodian of our history, our avant-garde vision and our constant commitment to a pure, high quality EVO oil that continues to flow through Mancini D'Alessandro oil bottles. A tradition that has lasted for generations.
At a time when animals were still the driving force behind local agricultural production, we embraced innovation by introducing state-of-the-art tractors.
The conscious use of state-of-the-art technology is one of the secrets of our oil, characterised by meticulous care of the soil, a forward-looking vision and a deep respect for the environment. Our first organic fertilisation, considered futuristic at the time, is now the norm, testifying to our commitment to sustainability.

The entrepreneurial history of our family speaks female, with the progenitor Anna Volpe, one of the first female entrepreneurs in the area. An innovator in her time, she was also among the first to use a modern plant for the production of extra virgin olive oil in a continuous cycle. Her heir, Anna Maria D'Alessandro, who grew up among the olive trees and became a bold young entrepreneur, continues her parents' excellent work.
